Nikola Jokic is still the NBA’s best player (yeah, I said it!) even after winning two of the last three MVP awards, and he proved it on Thursday with a 34-9-10 game in which he missed just three shots … and he hit the buzzer-beating game-winner from the logo to beat the Golden State Warriors.
Charles Barkley — who has always loved Jokic and given the Denver Nuggets superstar his flowers — decided to troll Jokic while interviewing him after that shot. He asked if Jokic had called “glass” on that shot that went off the backboard.
Jokic had a simple, smirking response: “My friend, it went in. I’m happy.”
