Haley revealed that she had called the chair of the Republican National Committee (RNC) to voice her objections. While the motion was eventually retracted, Haley criticized Trump for initially encouraging RNC members to support the idea, describing his behavior as 'unhinged.'
Haley's comments came to light during her first interview since the New Hampshire primary. She expressed her disappointment towards Trump's attempt to push RNC members into declaring him the nominee. However, due to the significant pushback received, Trump was forced to backtrack on the idea. Speaking about the situation, Haley stated, 'He's totally unhinged,' emphasizing her concerns about Trump's behavior.
