Big Brother star Nikki Grahame was admitted to the hospital two weeks before she died as she had an accident in the pharmacy.
The late reality star, who died aged 38 in April last year after a long battle with anorexia, was in the shop when she 'collapsed' and injured her back.
During her hospital stay, doctors even told her that her condition was 'life-threatening'.
"She was in a pharmacy when she fell and fractured her lower spine," her mother Sue revealed. "She rang me crying and said, 'I’ve had an accident – I’ve collapsed and fallen on my back.'
"On the first day in hospital, two doctors said her condition was life-threatening. Her weight was the lowest it had ever been since she reached adulthood."
She was discharged a day early and insisted on going home and spending some time alone. Sue wanted to go with her but Nikki said no.
"There was no point arguing. She knew her own mind. I said, 'I can’t fix you, Nikki. I’ve tried and tried. You need round-the-clock care'," Sue added to OK!
After returning home, Nikki told her mum she would be okay as she was going to a recovery clinic the following week.
Unfortunately, things got worse extremely quickly as the reality star called her mother during the early hours of the morning.
Sue previously told Sunday Mirror : "She told me, ‘I promise you, I won’t ever let my body get in this state again. Mum, I’m so tired’.
“I said, ‘You go now, sleep now’. She said, ‘Night, night’. And that was it.”

Sue tried calling Nikki the next day but no one answered the phone. Nikki's pal had keys to the house and went to check up on her.
She was found unconscious and an ambulance was immediately called for her.
Nikki was battling anorexia since she was a child, with her mother noticing her changed eating habits shortly before her eighth birthday.
She soon stopped eating the lunches Sue made for her to take to school.
When things reached a desperate point a year later, she was taken to the hospital to be examined.
The late star spent the next eight years of her childhood going to endless hospitals and institutions.
"She spent more time admitted than she did at home or at school," Sue revealed.
