A man has suffered multiple facial injuries after he and seven others were involved in an alleged altercation at a Civic nightclub.
ACT police were called to the venue on Hobart Place in the early hours of Monday, October 7, after reports of violence involving eight men.
A police spokeswoman said the alleged violent assault occurred in and outside the club about 12.15am and officers spoke to two of the men.
"[One of them] received injuries to his face, but [police] were not able to locate a group of six other men believed to be involved," she said.
The others left the location on foot and were last seen outside another venue on London Circuit, she added.
Police released images of the other six men captured on CCTV cameras to help identify them.
"ACT Policing is seeking the public's assistance to identify six men believed to have been involved in an assault at a nightclub in the city early [Monday] morning," the spokeswoman said.
Anyone who could assist police in identifying the men was urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or on the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
They were requested to quote 7868829. Police said information could be provided anonymously.
