Night fire drills were not carried out at Cameron House, inquiry hears

An inquiry into the fire at Cameron House Hotel on the shores of Loch Lomond in 2017 has been told fire drills were only carried out during the day. Richard Dyson and Simon Midgley (insert) were killed in a blaze in December 2017.

AN inquiry has been told fire drills were not carried out at night at a hotel where two men died in a blaze. 

The revelation came from Andy Roger, 43, who was resort director at the Cameron House hotel, near Balloch, on the shores of Loch Lomond, at the time of the fire in December 2017.
