Nigella Lawson left Saturday Kitchen fans red-faced after a rather risqué incident with a banana.
The celebrity chef, 62, was showing viewers how to make a curry using the skins of the fruit.
Admitting they were "not totally visually appealing", Nigella got to work peeling the bananas.
Revealing she only recently discovered the skins were edible, the mum of two tossed them in a sauce - looking delighted with life.
Proud of her efforts she purred: "There’s something always so gratifying about using up every last scrap”.
“These just go so velvety and just swell and soften with the flavour of the curry sauce”.
However the process was all too much for some viewers with several taking to Twitter complaining about the 'food porn'.
One wrote: “Of course Nigella is on the telly showing us how to make a curry with a phallic fruit”.
A second commented; “Nigella…bananas…standard”.
While a third was concerned with the segment's accompanying soundtrack, admitting: “I have to mute Nigella because my neighbours think I'm watching 70s porn due to the music”.
The chef recently divided her Instagram followers when she showed off an extremely rare steak she had just knocked up.
Nigella took to Instagram to share a pic of an Aberdeen Angus tomahawk with green sauce and sides of new potatoes and salad.
She was delighted with her efforts, but not everyone agreed.
Some told her the steak was 'so rare it could be heard mooing'.
Another advised: "A good vet could save it."
While a third asked the bestselling author: "Did you forget to cook it?"
However Nigella was defended by some of her fans with one gushing: "Wow! That gives me inspiration for dinner tomorrow! Thank you! However, mine will not turn out as perfect as yours."
Last year the star tried to go vegan for a few weeks - but soon gave up as she "doesn't see the point" in it.
She called out some of her critics, stating that humans should eat meat because they "have the teeth for it".
