Nigel Farage has said the UK Government has “blown it” on negotiating a trade deal with the US as Donald Trump prepares another wave of tariffs.

The American President overnight announced 25% tariffs on all car imports will come into place on April 2, while British Steel is proposing to close its steelmaking operations in Scunthorpe after taxes were imposed on metals entering the United States.
