Nigel Farage has called for mass religious observances to be banned after criticism of a large public Islamic prayer joined by the Mayor of London.
Sir Sadiq Khan was among worshippers at a Ramadan event in Trafalgar Square last weekend, which Tory shadow minister Nick Timothy called an “act of domination and division”, sparking an angry backlash.
