The Pentagon’s plan to livestream Nidal Hasan’s firing-squad execution has drawn opposition from Republicans who support his death sentence. Their objection centres on broadcasting the killing to the public.
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has said viewers would be able to watch the execution, scheduled for December 3. Hasan was convicted of killing 13 people in the 2009 Fort Hood shooting.
