Many babies in the Cleveland Clinic Children’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Ohio are gearing up for a unique experience - witnessing a total solar eclipse. The next time these babies witness such an event, they will be 75 years old.
To mark the occasion, the babies are being dressed in special onesies and eye covers that resemble eclipse glasses. Therese Razzante, NICU family support specialist at Cleveland Clinic Children’s, expressed that these outfits are a wonderful way to create a memorable day for the babies and their families.
One registered nurse at the clinic, Kelly Rushe, highlighted the significance of the timing, stating, 'How lucky for our current NICU babies that they showed up just in time for a once-in-a-lifetime celestial event like the solar eclipse!'
