Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi prays her kids avoid reality TV for 'good careers'

Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi admitted wanting her kids to steer clear of reality TV and shared hopes they go on to have "good careers" and "go to college".

The Jersey Shore star, 35, opened up about her infamous drunken arrest in 2010, revealing that her kids watched the moment before asking 'what she was doing'.

Appearing on this morning's GMA3: What You Need to Know, Snooki was promoting the new series of Jersey Shore: Family Reunion when she recalled the moment.

She confessed her regrets after being dragged away by cops in Seaside Heights in front of camera crews, before famously shouting "I'm a f***ing good person".

Speaking of anything she'd 'do differently' if she could turn back time, Snooki said: "I mean I would love to not get arrested on the beach so that my kids [didn't] see that one day.

"They were like 'mom what are you doing?'. But I feel like everything that has happened has made me the good person that I am today, the good mom."

Nicole told hosts that she felt like the reality TV show allowed her to get her wild side 'out of her system'. She added: "I went crazy, I had fun."

Snooki explained: "When I started the show I was only 21 so that was like my time to really, my college years, to go crazy.

"So, the fact that I did that, yeah I did crazy things that I wish never went on TV. I feel like it made me the mom that I am today."

Responding to questions about ever letting her kids, Lorenzo, 9, Giovanna, 6, and Angelo, 2, shared with her husband Jionni LaValle, on TV she said: "I mean I'd rather not."

"I want them to go to college and get a good career and do all that. But if they wanted to try it out, which god I hope not, I'm gonna support them."

Following her arrest in 2010, she was booked by the Seaside Heights Police Department.

An officer at the time told MTV camera crews: "She's drunk and disorderly. She's causing a scene. She'll be placed under arrest."

"She didn't hurt anyone or get in a fight," a source told PEOPLE at the time. "She just needs to be in a drunk tank for two hours," they added after she was cuffed and taken away.

Her charges were eventually dropped, and Nicole was forced to pay a $500 fine and complete two days of community service, according to CBS News.
