Nicole Scherzinger has gushed over her parents after revealing she has treated them to a very generous gift.
The Pussycat Dolls singer, 44, has enjoyed a life in the spotlight over the last two decades, but has kept her family out of the public eye for the majority.
However, she uploaded a number of snaps to Instagram, including a rarely seen shot of her parents, on Sunday and sweetly revealed: "My family is everything to me."
And there was an amazing reason for her doing so. Nicole, who is originally from Hawai'i, regularly heads back to her homeland and visits her family. This time, though, she was able to treat her parents to an epic home renovation - and she shared clips of the work on her social media.
The star was able to gift her parents, Alfonso and Rosemary, to an entirely remodelled home in Waianae and even offered a helping hand to the builders on location as she helped to knock out one of the walls.
Nicole captioned the post: "My family is everything to me. That’s why I feel so blessed and am so grateful to God I could surprise my Tutu and Papa with this home renovation! Mahalo to my ‘ohana and @ozzyconstruction for all your heart and hard work! And thank you #secretcelebrityrenovation for making this happen."
Fans and famous pals were on hand to praise the star for her generosity, with one user commenting: "It's so beautiful to see how much you love them."
Another added: "This makes my heart so happy."
The revelation comes after Nicole had recently shared a number of photos of her living her best life on holiday with beau Thom Evans in Portugal. In the sun-soaked snaps, the musician showed off her perfect curves in a revealing black two-piece bikini.
She posed in her thong with one leg tucked up to her knee as she pouted at the camera. She posed on a wooden walkway with a rocky surrounding. Another showed her in the same attire on a beautiful sandy beach as she strode toward the clear blue sea before looking back over her shoulder and peering over her sunglasses.
She captioned the post: "sun-day bun-day."
