Nicole Kidman has left fans baffled with her 'erratic' behaviour on the Oscars red carpet.
The actress, 55, caused a stir as fans watched back clips of her posing for photographers on Sunday night at the star-studded award show.
The Big Little Lies star went viral for her fierce posing as she bit her lip, giggled and tossed her hair around for the cameras.
Kidman put on the display alongside her husband Keith Urban, 55, as they attended the event at Los Angeles' Dolby Theatre.
Her antics continued as she packed on the PDA with her musician husband, who she married in 2006, a the pair nuzzled cheeks and kissed in front of waiting photographers.
Fans were quick to comment on the star's behaviour, as one said: "Omg. Nicole Kidman is giving messy, slutty glamour! Love that!"
Another asked: "Lmao Is Nicole Kidman drunk already?"
"Is Nicole okay?? Serious question," asked someone else.
A fan joked: "One thing about Nicole Kidman there is something wrong with her we just don't know what. And that's part of the appeal."
While Nicole hogged the limelight, her ex husband Tom Cruise was nowhere to be seen amid reports he wanted to "avoid an awkward run-in" with his former partner.
The Top Gun: Maverick star, 60, and Kidman split in 2001 and had a bitter divorce, following her reported refusal to join him in the Church of Scientology.
Cruise's film was up for six awards, including best picture.
"Tom was not there because she was there, and he did not want a run-in," a source told the Daily Mail.
Sources close to Cruise claimed his absence was 'not personal' and was nothing more than scheduling difficulties.
According to reports, the actor spent the night in an igloo after he flew out to Svalbard, 500 miles south of the North Pole, to film scenes for Mission Impossible's eighth instalment.
Tom is thought to have been joined by director Chris McQuarrie after turning down the chance to take a private jet to Hollywood in order to attend the Oscars.
Cruise and Kidman have not been at the same Oscars bashes this year and haven't been seen at the same event for years.
Nicole stunned at the event as she donned a tight black sequined dress with a thigh-high split.
Her effortless display cinched her at the waist as she paired the look with a pair of simple black strapped heels.
The actress wore her sleek blonde hair down with a middle parting.
Kidman also wowed as she attended a pre-Oscars bash in a navy blue tweed jacket and matching skirt with black tulle ruffles showing off her endless legs.
The Moulin Rouge actress complimented the look with a long pearl necklace and wore her strawberry red hair in a tussled up-do.
She attended the event hosted by Chanel alongside Lily James, Rita Ora and Kristen Stewart.
The Mirror has approached Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise's representatives for comment.
