Nicolas Raskin in Rangers transfer reminder as he issues pointed Standard Liege message amid Ronny Deila fallout

Frozen out Nicolas Raskin doesn't appear to be happy to be missing game time for Standard Liege - and has reminded potential suitors including Rangers that he is out of action.

The midfielder has been heavily touted with a move to Ibrox dating back to Gio van Bronckhorst 's tenure as boss, and Michael Beale has admitted the club are interest in the 21-year-old with his contract in Belgium nearing and end. Despite being a vital player for Ronny Deila during the first half of the campaign, he has been bombed out of the first-team picture at Standard having failed to extend his contract with the club and is currently training with the reserves.

That meant that Deila was without one of his key players for the clash with Royal Antwerp as the public fallout between the former Celtic boss and midfielder rumbles on. Raskin remained at the training centre in Liege while they were thumped 4-1 by title hopefuls Antwerp.

Raskin was keen to show he was keeping an eye on the game as he tuned in from the pedal bike - with the side already trailing 3-1 and down to 10 men. He posted a clip to Instagram showing that he was keeping fit - and potentially sending a message to Deila over what he is missing.

The Norwegian has stated that he hopes the 21-year-old will move on soon. He admits that a six month absence from football would not be good for the player or club, admitting: "It would also cost us a lot of money if he stays until then."

Speaking on Raskin, Rangers boss Beale previously said: "He is another good player I know from the time we played Standard Liege. He missed the first game against Rangers, the night Kemar Roofe scored that amazing goal. He played in the second leg and is a very good player who is out of contract in the summer."
