Arsenal star Nicolas Pepe could be on the verge of securing a move away from the Emirates Stadium after his agent was spotted in France.
Pepe signed for the Gunners back in 2019 for a club-record £72million deal but has struggled to replicate the form shown at Lille since arriving in north London. The Ivorian international has since fallen down the pecking order in Mikel Arteta's squad with the emergence of Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Emile Smith Rowe, leaving Pepe as a rotation option at best.
The arrival of Gabriel Jesus and Fabio Vieira has only hampered the 27-year-old's chances of breaking into the first team after making just 23 appearances in all competitions last term. Arsenal are thought to be searching to sign a 'mystery winger' before the end of the transfer window. Should Pepe seal a move away from north London, along with Reiss Nelson's latest injury, the Gunners will surely have to sign a new forward before deadline day.
