The summer has been filled with speculation regarding Nicolas Pepe's future. Despite it looking certain he would leave; he remains an Arsenal player and has featured heavily throughout the preseason.
However, he was an unused substitute in Arsenal’s 4-2 victory over Leicester City and the week before as the Gunners won away at Crystal Palace. Eddie Nketiah and Emile Smith-Rowe have been preferred to give Mikel Arteta’s side fresh legs in the final third.
