Nicolas Cage has been making headlines with his latest horror film, Longlegs, where he portrays the chilling character of Dale Kobble, also known as Longlegs. The movie's official Instagram page recently shared a snippet of Cage singing a haunting song in character, adding to the eerie atmosphere surrounding the film.

The song, titled 'Fire Fire Fire, Hiss,' is described as the last musical recording by Dale Ferdinand Kobble before his descent into darkness. Accompanied by a video featuring a doll's reflection in a mirror, the track showcases Cage's vocal prowess as he delivers cryptic lyrics over a backdrop of fuzzy bass and howling vocals.

In Longlegs, Cage plays a devil-worshiping killer whose character was inspired by his own mother. The actor revealed that his mother's unsettling vocalizations served as a basis for developing Longlegs' voice, creating a homage to her in the process.

To fully embody the role, Cage underwent a dramatic transformation with facial prosthetics, pale makeup, and a wig. The decision to keep Longlegs' face hidden in promotional materials was a deliberate move to build suspense and intrigue among viewers.

Maika Monroe, who portrays FBI agent Lee Harker in the film, had a heart-pounding experience when she first saw Cage in his Longlegs persona. The intense reaction from Monroe underscores the impact of Cage's portrayal on the cast and audience alike.

Longlegs, directed by Oz Perkins, offers a unique blend of horror and suspense, drawing viewers into a world of mystery and terror. With Cage's mesmerizing performance at the helm, the film promises to deliver a chilling and unforgettable cinematic experience.
