Nicola Sturgeon to give covid update as decision to be made on face mask rule

Nicola Sturgeon Scottish Parliament

Nicola Sturgeon will address the Scottish Parliament later today on the removal of the face mask rule still in place across the country.

The First Minister met with her cabinet to decide if the requirement to wear a covering on public transport and in several other settings will be lifted.

The decision of the cabinet will be announced in Holyrood later today.
