Nicola Sturgeon will have her first audience with the new King on Monday ahead of his visit to the Scottish Parliament where members will gather to remember the Queen.
King Charles and the Queen Consort will fly to Edinburgh in the morning ahead of a special procession as the Queen's coffin is moved from Holyroodhouse to St Giles' Cathedral where it will lay in rest for 24 hours.
Thousands are expected to line the streets for the short journey from the official residence to the Cathedral.
