Nicola Sturgeon has urged the UK Government to to immediately scrap visa requirements for Ukrainian citizens fleeing conflict.
Tweeting on Sunday evening, the First Minister said the Home Office should "sort paperwork later" and give entry now on humanitarian grounds "to any Ukrainian seeking refuge in the UK".
In the post Sturgeon also described the UK immigration system as "inhumane" and "indefensible."
