The First Minister has set out plans for an independence referendum next year.
Earlier today, Nicola Sturgeon outlined the Scottish Government’s plans to hold a referendum on October 19, 2023, and her intentions to write to the Prime Minister to negotiate the terms of a section 30 order.
She said: “Last May the people of Scotland said yes to an independence referendum by electing a clear majority of MSPs committed to that outcome.
