Nicola Peltz taunts the Beckhams as she praises her parents' treatment of 'sweet' Brooklyn

Nicola Peltz appeared to take a pointed swipe at her husband Brooklyn Beckham’s family while discussing his relationship with her parents.

The eldest Beckham child, 27, recently accused his “controlling” parents of trying to “endlessly ruin” his marriage to Nicola and said he has no plans to reconcile with them.

He has also reportedly told his family to only contact him through his lawyers and recently removed a tattoo tribute to David.

Amid the bitter fallout, US actress Nicola, 31, made it clear that Brooklyn remains very close to her family.

When asked by Elle how her parents, billionaire Nelson Peltz, 83, and model Claudia Heffner Peltz, 71, have welcomed Brooklyn into their family, Nicola said: “Like another son.”

She added that Brooklyn “loves playing football with her siblings”, stating: “He gets along really well with my brothers. They play soccer together a lot.”

The model also said of her husband: “Brooklyn supports my dreams and is the sweetest when I get too hard on myself. He has the biggest heart in the world.”

Her comments come just days after Brooklyn failed to pay tribute to Victoria for Mother’s Day in the UK - choosing instead to praise his mother-in-law Claudia on her 71st birthday.

The US-based cooking influencer celebrated Claudia’s birthday with the rest of her family and shared a tribute to her on social media after the festivities.

Posting a photo of himself with Nicola and Claudia on Instagram just hours before Mothering Sunday began in Britain, Brooklyn wrote: “Happy birthday to the best mother-in-law. Love u so much and hope u had the most amazing day.”

Claudia’s birthday actually fell on March 12 – three days earlier – meaning many people in the UK would wake up to Brooklyn’s message on Mother’s Day morning.

Earlier this year, Brooklyn finally addressed his family’s feud in a statement on his Instagram Stories after months of speculation.

He claimed his parents have been trying to “ruin” his marriage to Nicola and that Victoria “inappropriately” danced on him at their 2022 wedding.

Brooklyn also criticised David, claiming that despite travelling to the UK for David’s 50th birthday, repeated requests to meet beforehand were ignored.

The influencer said he was eventually offered a meeting on the condition that Nicola was not invited.

He claimed his parents are all about “Brand Beckham” and controlling the public narrative and said he has no plans to reconcile with them.
