Nicola Peltz has praised her husband Brooklyn Beckham and said his support "means everything" to her. For months it has been rumoured that Nicola, 27, and her 48-year-old mother-in-law, Victoria, have fallen out.
During an appearance on the red carpet on Wednesday for the premiere of Welcome to Chippendales, the new Mrs Peltz-Beckham opened up about how Brooklyn is her biggest fan - despite her allegedly being embroiled in a feud with his mum Beckham, writes The Mirror.
At the Los Angeles premiere, Nicola wore a stunning white dress with a feather trim around the hem and walked alongside her husband who donned a sleek black fitted suit.
Speaking to E! News Nicola said: "He is the sweetest person in the whole world and my best friend. And I think it's so sweet, how he supports me means everything."
Nicola plays the role of the late playmate Dorothy Stratten in Hulu's Welcome to Chippendales,. The show follows the story of Indian immigrant Somen 'Steve' Banerjee who becomes the unlikely founder of a male revue which becomes a cultural phenomenon. To prepare for her role, Nicola hired a voice coach and acting coach so she could learn how to talk and walk like Dorothy.
It's thought that Nicola and her future mother-in-law had a fall out ahead of Nicola's wedding to Brooklyn, when Victoria was unable to make her wedding dress. Brooklyn and Nicola got married back in April, and the bride wore a stunning couture Valentino dress— but the original plan was for her to wear a specially-made dress designed by Victoria.
Nicola told Grazia USA: "I was truly so excited to be able to wear a design that my future mother-in-law created. We connected to start designing the dress, and then a few days went by and I didn’t hear anything. Victoria called my mom and said her atelier couldn’t make it."
She also added that "it does hurt my feelings" when people say that she never wanted to wear a dress designed by Victoria.
Nicola and Victoria have not directly addressed fall out rumours but were seen together at Paris Fashion Week at Victoria's runway show. Victoria posted a photo of Brooklyn and Nicola where she wrote a caption that said: "I love you all so much".
