Nicola Peltz has admitted that it wasn’t exactly love at first sight when she first met her husband Brooklyn Beckham in a new interview.

The 27-year-old actress stars on the cover of Wonderland magazine and spoke about her romance with her husband of five months with the publication, sharing that their first time hanging out was far from romantic.

Pelt revealed that she “didn’t click” with Beckham, 23, initially as she spoke to actress Selma Blair for the interview: “I actually met Brooklyn like six years ago at Coachella, through one of my brothers; his name is Diesel.

“We really didn’t get along. He had a girlfriend and I had a boyfriend, and we just didn’t click at all.

“Diesel was like, ‘Oh my friend Brooklyn wants to crash at our house’, because all my brothers rented a house for Coachella.

“We barely interacted. We look back at pictures, like group pictures, and I’m with my boyfriend and Brooklyn’s in the corner.”

It’s hard to believe that the couple, who are often seen completely besotted with each other on their Instagram pages, interacted in quite the opposite way at first.

Peltz and Beckham married in an extravagant £3 million ceremony in April at her family’s £76 million Florida estate.

In her Wonderland interview, Peltz revealed that the wedding went ahead right in the middle of her filming her new TV mini-series Welcome to the Chippendales, in which she plays late actress and Playboy Playmate Dorothy Stratten.

Peltz explained: “Yes, I was shooting and I stopped five days before my wedding, and then I shot the week after my wedding.”

She praised her mother Claudia Peltz for taking the reins of the planning duties so she was able to work right up until the week of her wedding.

Peltz said: “My wedding was like smack in the middle. It was kind of amazing, because my mom was such a big help in my wedding that I was able to be so involved in the show.

“I was sucked into this character and then five days before I was like, ‘I’m getting married!’”

Peltz did not mention her mother-in-law Victoria Beckham in her latest interview, following reports of her feuding with the fashion designer after the pair are said to have clashed over her wedding dress.
