The family of Nicola Bulley broke down in tears when they finally found out how she died earlier today.
Speaking at an inquest into the mum's tragic death, Home Office pathologist Dr Alison Armour said it was likely that she drowned after entering the River Wyre in January.
The mum-of-two's devastated mother Dot and her sister Louise cried as the pathologist's evidence was read out. Dot was seen being consoled by the coroner's office manager.
