The family of Nicola Bulley said they still receive "negative and targeted messages" following her death.
A two-day inquest into the mum-of-two's death came to a close on Tuesday as a coroner concluded the mum-of-two drowned after falling into cold water in the River Wyre in January. Nicola's death has been recorded as accidental.
The 45-year-old's family said they needed to address the issue of social media once again following a conspiratorial social media frenzy.
