Nicola Bulley's daughter's heartbreaking words as she spots mum's search team

The heart-wrenching moment Nicola Bulley's six-year-old daughter spotted her mother's search team was captured in a poignant moment as the search for the missing woman continues.

Nicola, 45, disappeared after dropping off her children at the school gate in Lancashire on January 27.

Since then, police have been unable to figure out what happened to the mother-of-two, The Mirror reports.

Her last known location was at the River Wyre in St Michael's on Wyre at 9.10am that morning.

She went missing at some point up to 9.35am, with her phone placed on the park bench and her dog running around loose off its lead.

Hundreds of volunteers have since joined a major search operation, which is focused along the riverbank, as some investigators have speculated she may have entered the river accidentally. A specialist diver team was tasked with searching the water.

A very sad moment came when Nicola's friends posted a six-second video with Sky News, showing her six-year-old daughter Sophia noticing a search helicopter out looking for her missing mum.

The little girl is heard saying: "Them helicopters, they're looking for mummy."

Nicola's father said that the children still believed "mummy is coming home soon" but added if "this keeps going on and on I don’t know where we are going to go or what to say to them."

Lancashire Police do not believe Nicola was assaulted, however, all lines of enquiry are being kept open.

A dear friend of Nicola's has asked that social media users stop putting out false theories on her disappearance.
