Nicola Adams and her girlfriend have been forced to dismiss claims that they've secretly married after rumours started to swirl that they'd got hitched in Mexico.
The former boxer and Ella Baig managed to confuse their online followers after posting a rather formal photo.
Olympic champion Nicola, 40, uploaded a romantic suited and booted snap with the model 23, and it sent the Instagram into over-drive.
The couple are on their first holiday abroad with their four-month-old son Taylor in south America.
On Sunday they were at a wedding - but it wasn't theirs.
She originally wrote underneath one picture: 'Perfect Together' and then, under another, she put: 'I have you, you have me.'
It certainly got tongues wagging and they had to address the comments for well-meaning people sending their congratulations.
But Nicola clarified the situation in a video: "So sorry for the confusion but on my last post me and Ella are not married. That was my friend's wedding."
Ella decided to set the record straight on Instagram, saying: "I would just like to remind everybody that me and Nicky are not engaged nor are we married."
It's been a big few months for the pair.
Speaking about being mums for the first time, Nicola said that it the "most amazing thing that's ever happened".
Chatting to Hello! magazine, Ella recalled the moment her waters broke and she shouted at Nicola to ring the hospital.
"This is the point when everything feels worth the chaos and the long process of IVF. It’s the one outcome you’re waiting for," she said.
The couple embarked on their IVF journey by using Nicola's egg, which was fertilised with a sperm donor who resembled Ella.
Nicola said that watching Ella's body change and to see her give birth was "amazing", adding that she was "so proud" of her.
Opening up about why they had decided upon Taylor's name, Nicola explained: "We had a few names in mind because we wanted to see what he looked like first to see if the name suited him. We didn’t want to get stuck on one name and have to think of a new one if it didn’t work."
It comes after the couple previously revealed the news of their son's birth by sharing a photo of their son's feet.
"We are so excited to announce to the world that @babyadamsadventures has arrived," Nicola wrote at the time. "The first moment we laid eyes on you we felt an instant love and the strongest bond.
"We went to the moon and back to get you and we can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives watching you grow".
