In recent news, Nicki Minaj, the popular Trinidadian rapper, has found herself facing backlash from her own fans. The criticism comes in response to Minaj praising a 'diss track' featuring conservative commentator Ben Shapiro, which has unexpectedly risen to the top of the charts on iTunes.
The track, titled 'Facts,' was created by rapper and wrestler Tom McDonald. Shapiro makes a guest appearance on the song, directly referencing the Pink Friday star in his verse. With lyrics like 'Nicki take some notes, I just did this for fun. All my people download this, let's get a Billboard number-one,' Shapiro caught Minaj's attention.
