Nick Reiner Trial Update: Death Penalty Sought Over 'Lying in Wait' Slaying of Rob and Michele

Nick Reiner is now facing the possibility of the death penalty in Los Angeles after a new grand jury indictment alleged he was 'lying in wait' before the December 2025 killings of his parents, acclaimed filmmaker Rob Reiner and photographer Michele Singer Reiner.

The 32-year-old appeared in a Los Angeles court on Wednesday, where he pleaded not guilty to two counts of murder with special circumstances.
