For the second time this week, a player from the Cleveland Browns has been nominated for a national award around the league. First, left guard Joel Bitonio was nominated as the Browns’ Walter Payton Man of the Year for his work off the field as well as on it. Now today, running back Nick Chubb has been named a finalist for the 2022 Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award.
Chub joins Maxx Crosby of the Las Vegas Raiders, Calais Campbell of the Baltimore Ravens, and Jerry Hughes of the Houston Texans as the AFC nominees. From the NFC side, Dalvin Cook of the Minnesota Vikings, Aaron Jones of the Green Bay Packers, Kyle Juszczyk of the San Francisco 49ers, and Lavonte David of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been nominated for the award.
