Nicholas Pooran becomes first Lucknow Super Giants retention for IPL 2025: Report

Nicholas Pooran has reportedly signed with the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season. As per Cricbuzz, the 29-year-old visited the RPSG House in Kolkata to meet owner Sanjiv Goenka and finalise the deal.

Pooran is set to be the primary retention for the franchise, with a salary of Rs 18 crore. This makes him the first formal signing of the upcoming IPL season. His previous auction price was Rs 16 crore when LSG acquired him in 2023 after being released by the Sunrisers Hyderabad.
