Nicholas Peter Dawes court case adjourned after allegedly striking boy while evading police at MacGregor

An allegedly unlicensed driver who hit a young boy while evading police in Brisbane last week has had his matter adjourned in court.

Police arrested Nicholas Peter Dawes, 24, at Woodridge, south of Brisbane, on Friday and his matter was briefly mentioned in court on Saturday morning.

It's alleged he was driving an unregistered, uninsured green commodore which hit and seriously injured a 12-year-old boy about midday on Thursday in MacGregor, in Brisbane's south.
