Liverpool Women captain Niamh Fahey has shared her plans for the team's trophy lift after they secured the FA Women's Championship title and promotion with two games to spare.
The 4-2 win over Bristol City on Sunday afternoon saw the Reds over the line amid a dominant season that has seen them go unbeaten for 19 games in the league. They'll lift the trophy later this month when they welcome Sheffield United to Prenton Park.
When asked whether she's thought about the big moment, Fahey revealed she may replicate Jordan Henderson's famous 'shuffle' that has become a familiar sight for supporters in recent years.

She said after the win: “Missy Bo [Kearns] has me down for the Hendo shuffle. I don’t know, but she has that already so I’ll probably just make her happy and go for that!"
Liverpool's relegation to the Championship arguably came as a shock in 2020. A club so successful in the men's game and with previous success in the women's game, they're a team that should be competing with the very best.
But after a two-year absence from the top flight, their promotion represents a huge step forward in the right direction as they look to become a force in the WSL once again.
“Yeah, I think so [Liverpool are back where they should be]," Fahey continued. "It’s a huge club. We’ve had our tough times in recent years, but the fans have stuck with us. We have restructured at the club and different things have come in that have helped us get back up there, so we’re looking forward to competing in the top league again.
“Obviously I can say that now [we were never going to lose today], we knew it was going to be a tough game but the way we’ve gone about every game this year, we’ve always thought we can get a win. We’ve been so consistent, so I think everyone had high motivation to get the job done today.
“We’ve had some really tough times, tough years. To now be celebrating and have some positivity around us, it’s a welcomed feeling for sure.
“We’ve had our difficulties off the pitch, Rylee [Foster] unfortunately had that injury but here she is today and she’s with us, she’s happy just to be here. That shows away from the pitch we’ve been a tight group and we’ve had each other’s backs the whole way.
“I’m delighted for everyone in the squad, the backroom staff as well. We’ve worked so hard.”
