Niall Horan has been confirmed amongst the celebrities decending on Northern Ireland this summer for a Pro-Am golf event.
The former One Direction star will return to Co Antrim in August to take part in the Pro-Am at the ISPS Handa World Invitational presented by the company he co-founded Modest! Golf Management.
The Irishman will tee it up on Wednesday, August 10 for the curtain-raiser ahead of the innovative ISPS Handa World Invitational, which brings together some of the best players in the men’s and women’s game, with a DP World Tour tournament and co-sanctioned LPGA Tour and Ladies European Tour event played concurrently over two courses from August 11-14.

Horan has more recently built a successful career as a solo artist, and also founded Modest! Golf Management, the presenting sponsor of the tournament which will be played across Galgorm Castle and Massereene Golf Clubs.
“I’m really looking forward to returning to County Antrim later this year,” said Horan. “It’s no secret that I love golf and all of us at Modest! are proud to have the opportunity to work with the DP World Tour, the LPGA Tour and the Ladies European Tour along with title sponsor ISPS HANDA once again for this event.
“It was great fun last year and it was great to see men and women playing on the golf course at the same time and for equal prize money. Pro-Ams are always great a family day out and I’m excited to see the crowds come out in support of the tournament.”
Joining Leona Maguire, Ireland’s first-ever winner on the LPGA Tour, in the women’s competition will be Northern Irishwoman Stephanie Meadow, who won the 2019 edition of this event, and Germany’s Olivia Cowen, who earned a place on the LPGA Tour in 2022 through qualifying school.
“I can’t wait to get back to Galgorm for the ISPS HANDA World Invitational in August,” said Meadow, who grew up in Jordanstown, less than an hour from Galgorm. “I have great memories of winning there in 2019 and look forward to playing in front of the home fans once more.
“I was so disappointed when I couldn’t compete last year due to schedule clashes and playing in the Olympics.
Tickets for the Pro-Am and all four tournament days are available HERE, with a season ticket available for all five days of action at Galgorm Castle and Massereene Golf Clubs.
