Niall Horan was left "humbled" after a fan's mother approached him while he was sitting in an outside restaurant.
The former One Direction star was enjoying a meal out when the mum of one of his fans walked up to him.
Videoing herself for a TikTok, the woman told Niall that her daughter recognised him and dared her to go up to him and ask if she could have a picture as she was too scared.

However, it was one comment that the mum made that got viewers talking as she wasn't so sure who the Mullingar native was.
She said: "My teenage daughter thinks you are some pop star?"
The comment seemed to take the singer by surprise as he responded: "Some pop star... my name is Niall."
The mum was clearly delighted when Niall confirmed who he was and shouted: "You are Niall! Oh my god!"
The 28-year-old then shushed the woman to avoid attracting attention to himself.
The mum then said: "Okay. Can she take a selfie? She actually dared me to do this."
Niall was happy to take a snap with his fan.
The hilarious clip of the encounter was posted to the social media platform and has since received over 2.5 million views.
However, some viewers of the clip thought Niall was a little abrupt in the video.
They said: "Why does he have an attitude?"
A second wrote: "He got humbled with the 'some popstar'."
While a third said: "Someone got up on the wrong side of bed."
Others defended the star, saying his reaction was because he found the comment funny.
