CHANDIGARH: In the follow-up investigations and action in the wake of raids and searches of houses/establishments connected with leaders and members of organized criminal networks by NIA across five states on Tuesday, the investigation agency has arrested one Rajesh alias Raju Mota, a resident of Basaudi in Sonepat district of Haryana. He has a criminal background and has multiple criminal cases registered against him.
According to NIA officials, Raju Mota has been running an illegal liquor mafia network in Sonepat and surrounding areas, alongwith his associates. He is an accomplice of Sandeep alias Kala Jathedi, who is a dreaded gangster of Haryana.
