A Northern Ireland charity is helping to rehome a tiny spaniel from an Turkish animal shelter which looks after more than 1,000 unwanted dogs.
Little Tom is emaciated, malnourished and weak but is now under the care of Cavaliers In Need who are helping provide his medical care in Turkey.
And it is hoped in a few months he will be strong enough to make the journey to a foster home in Northern Ireland where life can start again.
