An NI dad has told how he was diagnosed with incurable blood cancer after suffering from chest pains for 18 months.
Gareth Alexander from Bangor was fit and healthy. The pain he was having was initially thought to be muscular.
The 46-year-old was eventually sent for an X-ray which showed a tumour in his chest and he was diagnosed with myeloma in June 2019. His two sons were only 3 and 5 at the time of diagnosis.
