An NHS worker has landed a £1 million lottery jackpot shortly before receiving the all-clear from her breast cancer treatment.

Maxine Lloyd, 50, said she thought a phone notification she received during her first lot of radiography treatment was a message from partner.

Instead, it was from her bank, telling her that the winnings had been deposited in her account.
