Scientists who have played a huge role in developing Covid-19 tests are now putting their efforts into innovative projects which could speed up diagnoses of life-threatening illnesses - including various cancers.
A team of researchers at The North East Innovation Lab in Newcastle have been granted more than £200,000 to develop a new detection test for early stage pancreatic cancer.
