A porter at Forth Valley Royal Hospital has been prised for rushing to the aid of a woman who took unwell.
Alex Gray, 23, noticed the woman was leaning forward in her chair in the X-Ray department and stopped to ask her if she was feeling ok - as she responded the woman started to pass out.
But quick thinking from Alex meant he caught her and prevented her from falling and gently placed her into the recovery position and alerted clinical staff who took over.
Alex has since received a Serco Star Award.
He says he was simply glad that he was there and able to help.
