BHUBANESWAR: The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has sought an action taken report from director general of police (DGP), Odisha over alleged fake encounter by police in Baipariguda area of Koraput district that had taken place late on November 10 night.
The Commission passed this order on Thursday acting on a petition filed by rights activist and lawyer Radhakanta Tripathy. It has asked for this report within four weeks.
