Lions receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown struck first in Thursday night’s rivalry game against the Packers at Lambeau Field, shaking Green Bay cornerback Rasul Douglas to find the end zone for a 24-yard touchdown.
But the jaw-dropping score was quickly overshadowed by what came after during the wideout’s celebration.
Taking advantage of his surroundings, Brown opted to go for a “Lambeau Leap” after putting the Lions on the board early in the first quarter. He quickly identified a few Detroit faithful in the front row and pulled off the jump up into the stands with ease.
However, one nearby Packers fan clearly took exception to the rival player mimicking Green Bay’s iconic celebration. The broadcast captured that same patron reaching over and pouring a seemingly-full beer on Brown’s helmet and shoulders, making for an unsavory scene.
Needless to say, the NFL world was largely outraged at the clip and took to social media to tell off the fan for taking things a step too far.
