NFL Wild Card: Most popular Saturday bets include overs on Keenan Allen’s and Austin Ekeler’s receiving props

This year’s NFL playoffs are just moments away from commencing, with an NFC West battle between the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers kicking things off before the Los Angeles Chargers and Jacksonville Jaguars conclude the day’s slate.

Saturday’s two games present two separate opportunities for bettors to find the winning wager. And according to BetMGM’s John Ewing, the public thinks those winning wagers will have a lot to do with the favored teams’ (Niners, Chargers) key players.

Ahead of Seahawks-49ers, bettors are going all in on Christian McCaffrey to surpass 73.5 rushing yards and Elijah Mitchell to go over his player prop of 39.5 rushing yards. Since becoming teammates in October, the two backs have not yet reached those totals in the same game. Nevertheless, their two props are the most bet on at BetMGM.

Bettors at BetMGM are banking on Keenan Allen and Austin Ekeler to get the job done in the passing game during the later-in-the-day playoff matchup. With Mike Williams officially ruled out with a back injury, it’s presumed Allen and Ekeler will be even more involved than they already were going to be. If they can’t surpass their receiving totals (6.5 receptions for Allen, 38.5 receiving yards for Ekeler), you might begin to wonder where the Chargers’ offensive production will come from against a tough Jaguars defense.

You can tail the public if you’re interested in the thrill of betting on postseason football. Regardless of if that’s your lane or not, you can follow the action as it unfolds.

Seahawks-49ers begins at 4:30 pm ET on FOX and Jaguars-Chargers is set for 8:15 pm ET on NBC.
