NFL Week 7 Awards: Aaron Rodgers got lit up while attempting the lamest block of the week

Sundays’ NFL action was, well, not the best. Pretty far from it, actually.

There were some real struggles out there, especially for a couple of older QBs who have had great careers.

Tom Brady suffered one of the most embarrassing losses of his career with his Bucs losing to a Panthers team that traded away its best player this past week and has basically given up on the 2022 season.

Aaron Rodgers suffered his third straight defeat while looking completely lost for most of Green Bay’s loss to the Commanders.

Let’s do our best here to push forward with some awards for the all the good, the bad, and the hilarious moments from Sunday’s games.

Most painful 'block' by a legendary QB: This one by Aaron Rodgers.

Nice try, dude.

Worst job of catching an easy TD pass: Mike Evans.

Tom Brady couldn’t have liked this:

Best first half by a QB who led his team to the Super Bowl last year: Joe Burrow.

Yeah, Burrow had a pretty good first half against the Falcons.

Coolest 4th and 1 play: This one by the Ravens.

LOVE this.

Best reaction by a punter who was fired up about one of his punts: San Francisco’s Mitch Wishnowsky.

Fired up punter alert!

Best call of a last-second defensive stand: Bob Papa, New York Giants radio dude.

That Jags came SO close to a win at the buzzer.

The most baffling pass thrown by a QB: This one by Jimmy Garoppolo.

What were you thinking, Jimmy G?!

Best first carry by a star running back who was traded to a new team this past week: This run by Christian McCaffrey.

The 49ers didn’t beat the Chiefs on Sunday but their new running back should be a good one for them.

The worst job of trying to throw a pass near someone on your team: Brett Rypien.

The Broncos’ backup QB proved to be just as bad as Russell Wilson.

The most clutch FG kicker in the game: Justin Tucker.

Look at how good this guy is when it counts:

Best postgame tweet by a team: New York Jets.

The Jets’ social media team nailed this tweet after their win over the Broncos.
