The second half of the season begins on Sunday for the Los Angeles Rams as they look to turn things around after a 3-6 start. They’re hosting the Seattle Seahawks as slight underdogs, despite beating their rivals 30-13 in the season opener.
While the oddsmakers don’t see the Seahawks having a huge edge in this matchup based on the 1-point spread, NFL experts are leaning heavily toward Seattle. According to Tallysight, 70% of experts who have submitted a pick for this game are taking the Seahawks to win straight-up.
Accounting for the spread, as small as it is, 64% are picking Seattle to cover.
Experts are almost split on the over/under, with 47% taking the over and 53% picking the under.
The Rams have won six of the last 10 meetings against the Seahawks, though Seattle swept the series last season when Matthew Stafford was sidelined for both games. The Rams have also covered the spread in nine of the last 10 games against Seattle, so even when they’ve lost, they’ve kept games close.
