The Los Angeles Rams are a stellar 6-1 in Week 1 games under Sean McVay but they’ll certainly need to play well on Sunday night if they want that record to improve to 7-1. They’re heading to Detroit for a road matchup with the Lions this weekend and are predictably underdogs against the defending NFC North champs.
The majority of experts believe the Lions will win that game, with only a small portion of pundits picking the Rams to pull off the upset.
According to Tallysight, only 13% of the 155 experts are taking the Rams to win outright. There’s a larger contingent picking Los Angeles to cover the 4.5-point spread, with 42% taking the Rams and the points.
As for the over/under, which is set at 52.5 points, 57% of experts are picking the under. That’s a pretty high total so it’s not surprising to see the majority of experts taking the under.
The Rams are 2-1 straight-up and 2-1 against the spread when facing the Lions under McVay, and each of those three games has gone under the projected total.
