Fowler said that the Colts are going "all-in" to keep Jones for a long time. To do that, they need to be financially prepared. He referenced deals given to Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold, each of whom secured multi-year deals worth close to $100 million after succeeding in new environments.

According to Bleacher Report, Jones is completing a career-high 69.9% of his passes for 2,659 yards, 15 touchdowns, and seven interceptions this season.
