The UK was gripped by NFL fever overnight as the Kansas City Chiefs ran out 38-35 winners beating the Philadelphia Eagles to win the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
Sky Sports and ITV both broadcast the action with viewers treated to a classic with Patrick Mahomes recovering from a first half ankle injury to mount a comeback charge and win a second Super Bowl MVP award. The sport's popularity has never been higher and supporters outside of the United States of America will be desperate for tickets to the 2023 matches being played abroad.
The international series, as it was known, has been re-branded as the International Games with a record five matches being played outside the US later this year. And with the Chiefs heading to Europe as a host alongside the The Buffalo Bills, Tennessee Titans, Jacksonville Jaguars, and New England Patriots, the standard has arguably never been higher.

The Super Bowl champions heading overseas is a big deal and with the Bills and Jaguars quarterbacks Josh Allen and Trevor Lawrence both rising stars they will be a big draw for supporters too. Wembley regularly sells out, as does the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, while games are even being played in Bayern Munich's Allianz Arena.
As far as tickets are concerned, fans can register now for a chance to get priority access to purchase them and get access to tickets in the general sale when it begins. NFL season ticket holders at Spurs will be contacted before their window to purchase tickets for the matches, with dates and fixtures yet to be confirmed.
"Growing the league and our sport internationally is a major strategic priority for the NFL, and we are excited to again be playing five games outside of the United States in 2023," NFL executive vice president Peter O'Reilly said. "We know how important live regular season games are to our passionate global fans and we thank our clubs for their strong, long-term commitment to this important initiative.
"Interest in our game globally is at an all-time high, and we look forward to returning to the UK and Germany in 2023 with some of the most iconic clubs and stars in the NFL."
